Soul Travel as an Essential Step in Spiritual Practice
with Grandmaster Mingtang Xu

The existence of other dimensions is increasingly embraced by science, but has long been a part of many religious and spiritual worldviews. From both perspectives, the character of these worlds is, for the most part, based on theory or doctrine and not direct experience. The study of near-death experiences and related phenomena introduces the possibility of having such direct experience through the separation of the soul from the body.

In the Daoist and Buddhist traditions such soul travel is viewed as an essential milestone in one’s spiritual development. With deep Daoist, Shamanic and Buddhist roots, the ZY Qigong system is informed by an understanding of this phenomenon which differentiates soul travel from consciousness travel and explains the role of Kundalini energy in facilitating soul travel. Grandmaster Xu offers a direct perspective and clear explanations of the role of soul travel in spiritual development as well as the dynamics involved.

Qigong Grandmaster Mingtang Xu will discuss the levels of psychic abilities, and how they may serve life. A leading teachers and healers in Chinese medicine, transmitting ZY Qigong, a 7,000-year-old self-development system, to more than 30,000 students worldwide.

ZY Qigong Image Therapy:
For Healthcare Providers and People Who Want to Become Healers
with Claire Guyu Johnson

In ancient times, all Chinese doctors had the ability to scan a patient’s body, and make an accurate diagnosis and tailor individual treatment without the patient uttering one word. ZY Qigong Image Therapy effectively develops these ancient abilities in healers. A set of simple, yet profoundly effective healing techniques are taught in Image Therapy workshops which can be adapted accordingly to address symptoms and ailments on all levels. Image Therapy offers a simple model that shows how disease, healing, the human being and the universe form a contextual web on the physical, energetic and informational levels.

The Lost Spiritual Branch of Chinese Medicine:
A Talk and Meditation with Dr. Liu Dong

In these three talks and meditations, Dr. Liu draws from the spiritual branch of the Chinese medical tradition, zhou yu, which has been discarded over the last few hundred years. He explains the three shen, or spirits, the three hun, or liver souls, and the seven po, or lung souls. These form part of a complex understanding of psychology that is both somatic and spiritual, encompassing the complete human being. It forms the basis for the deep transformational practices of qigong. Please bring your mediation cushions.

Shamanism and Qigong Practice with Master Zhongxian Wu

The relationship between Chinese Shamanism and Qigong is both ancient and mysterious. In China, indigenous shamanic practices became interwoven with Daoism and Qigong lineages, but the relationship is rarely talked about explicitly. In this very special talk, Master Zhongxian Wu will discuss:

POSSIBLE TOPICS:

I.  What Happens to your Consciousness, Knowledge and Emotions after Death?

During the lecture Grandmaster Mingtang will share his insights on consciousness, its relationship to our mind, our body, our spirit and soul, and the cycles of life.  He will elaborate on how consciousness is not only associated with our brain and mind, and how it is in fact closely connected with our soul.

When one dies one's consciousness does not stay with one's dead body and brain, it follows one's soul, as do our emotions.  How do we resolve our emotional issues and grow spiritually in this lifetime?  Mingtang will explain how you can learn to direct your soul and its development during ZY Qigong practice.  You can learn to come out of your physical body through practices, and gain understanding of the universe with the guidance of high-level teachers.

Mingtang will also demonstrate exercises that strengthen your spirit so that your immune system can resist stress, depression, anger and fear in this world.

II.  Would you like to Experience Qi in your own Body?

Mingtang can emit this powerful healing energy, so that qi becomes tangible to you

He can scan a volunteer to explain the current status of their physical, energy and spiritual health

He can use qi to activate dormant energy systems, strengthen weakened energy systems, and accelerate healing processes in members of the audience

During his talk he can make tangible the relationship between your qi system, your health, wisdom, your life cycle and its range in this world and others.  How your consciousness, your knowledge and your emotions are all part of your overall health.  He explains how to gain a deep and lasting understanding that you are never alone.

III.  What are the Ten Senses we can all have Beyond the Five we Know?

Our five normal senses are: sight, hearing, smell, taste, and touch.  Many people also have some degree of extra-sensory perception.  Some see auras or energy fields, some see through material things, some see events happening in other parts of the world, and some see events that happened in the past or are about to happen in the future.

Everybody with a physical body has ten more senses and can develop these extra-ordinary senses.  They are normal functions of life in this world.  They are tools for us to gain true understanding and compassion.

When people have the use of more senses, they can understand each other better.  There will be fewer secrets, fewer lies.  People will understand the earth better, understand the universe and how we humans fit into the universe better.  People will have a more complete view, more perspective, and they will see the bigger picture easily.

Our behaviors come from our consciousness.  When our consciousness changes, so will our behaviors.

WHAT OTHERS SAY ABOUT MINGTANG'S LECTURES

“Delighted about the turnout. The lecture was fascinating. Mingtang laid out—clearly—levels of reality that fall outside the Western Scientific screen.  At the same time, it seems that these realities are tested methodically and rigorously over time, in a way that parallels the western scientific method. This is something I am very interested in. He also pointed out that we rely on our senses and laid the groundwork that qigong can help us go beyond our ordinary senses.  I am interested to see what exactly happens in the qigong scanning.”
